I am pleased to announce that Enrollment Management, under the leadership of Dr. Paul Kohn, Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Dean of Admissions, is joining the Student Affairs team! This reorganization is a direct result of President Shelton’s recognition that attracting top-level students, and providing financial aid and on-campus support to those students, is best achieved as a comprehensive and coordinated campus effort.

The units within Enrollment Management include Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid, and the Registrar. These units are critical components of the University’s success, and under Dr. Kohn’s leadership, they have performed exceptionally well, achieving the goals of this institution in an impressive fashion.

Throughout the years, many Student Affairs areas have developed successful partnerships with the units and staff of Enrollment Management. Paul and I see this merger as a natural next step towards formalizing those partnerships. We hope to gather input as we strategize how to take full advantage of our considerable human and capital resources in order to more effectively impact student access and retention at the UA.

Details of this forthcoming realignment will be announced later this summer, but for now I am delighted to welcome Paul and his excellent staff to the Student Affairs team.
