The Basic Needs Initiative is dedicated to helping you thrive by providing essential resources and services to meet your basic needs. We strive to remove barriers related to food insecurity, housing instability, and financial challenges to support your academic success and well-being.

Campus Health

Campus Health is the go-to for health and wellness providing comprehensive medical and mental health services and support resources. They are a nationally ranked integrated health center located conveniently on campus. Serving students, faculty and staff, health insurance is helpful but not required. 

Campus Recreation

Campus Recreation offers diverse programs and facilities to help you stay active, have fun, and connect with others. Whether you’re looking to join a sports team, participate in group fitness classes, or work with a personal trainer, there's something for everyone.

Counseling & Psych Services (CAPS)

Campus Health's Counseling & Psych Services (CAPS) makes it easier for students to get mental health support whether that's at CAPS or someplace else. They offer a wide range of mental health services and resources designed to be tailored to each student's journey.
