Throughout the school year, fraternities and sorority members must complete at least 8 community service hours a semester. Many members continue this involvement over the summer. Here are just a few of the causes U of A Greek Life students have been engaged with recently:
- Volunteering with the Food Bank to provide relief to Houston area residents impacted by a recent hurricane
- Alterations at a local costume shop
- Aiding veterinarians in Costa Rican communities spaying and neutering cats and dogs.
- Letter writing for Letters of Love and Point of Pride
- Street and park clean-ups with Tucson Clean & Beautiful
- UA EMS
If you know of other volunteer opportunities available to students, please contact Greer Vinall.
