What do you love most about your work at U of A?
After working on campus for over 30 years, one of my favorite things is the relationships built with colleagues. I love learning from them daily and the friendships built along the way.

What is your favorite thing about Tucson?
I love that there are so many things to do in Tucson. Great food, sports, a variety of events (concerts, theatre), and so many things to do outside! I am never bored.

What is your favorite spot on campus?
Although I haven't visited in some time, there was a row of sweet olive plants on the north side of Modern Languages and south of the College of Education that, when blooming, had the best smell in the world! I would always detour when walking on campus to take advantage of the beautiful smell.

What do you like to do outside of work?
Gardening, and doing anything outside with my fur baby.

Share one piece of advice for current or prospective U of A students.
Find community and take advantage of study abroad opportunities if possible. Studying outside of the USA provides such rich and valuable experiences that you will always remember.
